<p>One of my hosted domains got hacked over the week while I was in Las Vegas. It appears that instead of doing the regular defacement, the hacker not only left the site alone, it left spam pages in the domain. The only tell was my account using upwards of 1TB over a couple days. The lesson for the day is &#8230; when generating a password, use a strong one! If you use a password manager like <a href="http://www.keepassx.org/">KeePassX</a> or <a href="https://lastpass.com/">LastPass</a>, you can generate secure random passwords.</p>
