Must-Have World of Warcraft Tool: WoWEquip

This is a great little app to calculate anything and everything about your equipment and it’s effects.

A good example is the calculation for Fire Resist. For 125FR for example I got this:

Chance to Resist Non-Damage: 31% (Resisted)
Chance to Resist 100% Damage: 1%
Chance to Resist 75% Damage: 7%
Chance to Resist 50% Damage: 26%
Chance to Resist 25%% Damage: 48%
Chance to take Full Damage: 18%

You can switch gear in and out to give you the best overall view of which set is best to wear if you want resists, damage, defense, etc. All blue+ items are already included and if the item isn’t in the database, you can give the Allakazam URL and it’ll download the item along with it’s art and stats.

    1. You don’t run it while WoW is running so it can’t record keystrokes.
    2. WoW doesn’t store your password on your computer. So no, it can’t steal it.

If you’re concerned about account security, run it on another computer. It doesn’t need wow, nor does it interact with wow in any fashion.

If I were to post the 20,000 lines of source code somewhere, would you really be any the wiser about how it worked? :p
