eDonkey No More
MetaMachine, makers of eDonkey have come under the the evil eyes of the RIAA. eDonkey, the software, might change …
… but the community, the technology, the protocol has created, won’t. There are still several open source applications that make use of eDonkey networks like eMule. People can still start up ed2k servers using Lugdumnum server software. This will not change the eDonkey community or filesharing using eDonkey technology. So what did they really stop? Nothing! Nothing! So says I.
