Internet Explorer Comment Oddity

It seems that Internet Explorer and Firefox handle comments differently. I comment out a lot of the HTML that I don’t use, but might use in the future. While things were properly commented in Firefox, it looked like hell on IE. I don’t use IE for regular browsing, so while testing out the CSS dropdown menus, I figured out that for days there was this huge ad in the middle of my IE pages. Note to self … test with IE.

EDIT: I still can’t find where in my code the “–>” at the bottom of the page is. If anyone finds it, do comment. It appears on IE, but not in Firefox.
