Warcraft coming to the big screen!

Thats right! Warcraft on the big screen! Here’s to hoping for a smooth transition. I feel pumped although I know in my heart that I will be disappointed. Theres to much Warcraft lore out there and important storylines will definitely be left out.

IRVINE, Calif. — May 9, 2006 — Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. and Legendary Pictures today announced that they have entered into an agreement to develop a live-action film based on Blizzard Entertainment®’s award-winning Warcraft® universe. Based on the terms of the agreement, Legendary Pictures has acquired the movie rights for the best-selling game universe, and both companies are now focused on translating the high-quality Warcraft entertainment experience to the big screen.

This is something to look forward to. I was expecting a movie with StarCraft before.

Story-wise, you’ll be disappointed but think about the effects and actions scenes. ;)

Starcraft also has a lot of story behind it. The problem with the action is they already made one like it … Starship Troopers, hahaha.
