Want to Buy: Full Content RSS Feeds + Newsgator

Every site worth visiting seems to have RSS, but not everyone publishes their full content on their feeds. They force us to click through or in many cases when I’m on the road … touch through. If they care so much about ads, put ads on your feeds. For many people like me, RSS is the most convenient way of going through a boat load of sites quickly and effectively especially on mobile devices. You want your content read by as many people as possible, then let us.

Since I am already talking about RSS, I’m just going to go right ahead and mention my favorite set of tools to view them … Newsgator. Newsgator gives you a multitude of tools on various platforms to get your RSS fill. They offer FeedDemon for Windows and NetNewsWire for Macs. If you would like to go mobile, they also have NetNewsWire for the iPhone/iTouch as well as software for the Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Java Mobile and Java PDAs. Oh wait, there is more, you can also view your feeds through an Outlook plugin and on the web.

The best part about using Newsgator tools is synchronization. If I’m on the road, I look at my feeds using NetNewsWire for the iPhone and those that I read get marked read so I don’t go home and have to go through the same feeds again. Those I want to see later, I can just “clip” for later reading. My mobile device gets sync’ed to my Windows client at home. It’s great stuff.
