I’m pretty sure everyone has been pissed at one time of another when getting booted from the game because you weren’t on your keyboard. You run to the store and come back only to find you’ve been booted and now you have to wait queue to get back into the game. This little program is a nice little solution to that problem. It prevents your character from going AFK(Away From Keyboard) by jumping randomly every few minutes. Other uses of this include farming rep in Alterac Valley! Turn it on, and go grab a sandwitch. That may change soon though as stated in the patch notes of 1.10. Changed for the better I’m pleased to add.
It’s made using AutoIt, a Windows automation tool that simulates keystrokes. It still is a 3rd party program, so you should use a program like ProcessGuard so that Blizzard’s “Warden” cannot look into your system’s memory and ban your ass. Use it at your own risk!
I’ve had this for sometime. Credits go to someone else (who?) and I’ve only used modified it slightly, but it is otherwise unchanged.
The filename is antiafk.exe. You can rename it to anything else you’d like. When first run, it will create a “Settings.ini”. You can open this file to change the hotkey and minimum/maximum running time.
To run it, just open the program and when in WoW, press CTRL + ALT + Z by default and CTRL + ALT + X to close it by default.
You do not need AutoIt to run the program and I personally don't know anyone who has been banned ... however, just because I don't know anyone who has been banned doesn't mean you can't get banned.
wow guy
do u have to have autoit for this program to run? how many do u kno that got banned from using this program??
On first run, it creates settings.ini for you, shouldn't be a problem anymore.
uhuhuh
i got the same message! i wanna use this lol help me!
Oww!
OMG, WinRar says "No settings.ini detected, or some data missing, Creating new one and setting to defoult" i've done this about ten times now.. What i can do?
Yes. It's been a while since I've posted this and I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that Blizzard will probably catch on to this and bitchslap you. It proves no real use to me anymore anyway since AV changed how rep is given, although with the new 1.12 changes, rep farming AB like this might be possible as well.
JohnyM
I used and then got banned by blizzard. Even with Processguard. Don't reccomend
