StuckGamer Streaming Video Game Walkthroughs
Someone should have thought of this before. Well, except me. A couple years ago before TechTV became G4, I remember hearing rumors of a show that took players through an entire game during a show dedicated to video game walkthroughs. I guess I heard wrong, but now we have StuckGamer that does give you full streaming video-game walkthroughs. They don’t have a lot of games right now, but they do have the more popular ones. I can’t blame them, it’s hard enough playing by yourself, how much more to set a whole sequence up? The video game quality is not very good. It’s like watching video through your cellphone. I wouldn’t be surprised if they developed a subscription scheme in the future that gives you better quality videos for a fee ala Gamespot’s Complete. I couldn’t get the video to stream in either Quicktime or Windows Media. I had to use trusty wget to download the file directly. Games like Halo 2 or Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas don’t really need walkthroughs, but if I EVER required walkthroughs, I’ll know where to go.
