It seems that the MMO Dofus (Yes, stupid name) has now gone free. Free as in ammm … beer. I ran into the game some months ago but was put off by the limited free content before you had to pay. With WoW on the market, why would I want to pay for another inferior MMO? Now that it is free, it might be worthwhile to check out again.

I think DOFUS is more interesting than Wow. Sure, Wow is cool and it’s may be the best MMORPG.
But DOFUS is a tactical game. I’m fed up with hack’n slash MMORPG. Big Companies think gamers are only teenage boys with spot and a level 80 of QI.
DOFUS looks like a asian MMORPG which is pretty cool, but it had also the occidental reference and has already mention the tactical fights (turn by turn) are handsome.
I’m sad about the fact it goes free, cause there will be more noob now. DOFUS was only $6,90/a month with no extra CD charge. Wow, it’s twice the price (and you need to buy a cd).
But, I also heard that subscribers will have more options than free players.

I dont see the point in playing Dofus for free since your are so limited on what you can do to the P2P members. Really if you want to get the best out of Dofus then you should pay for it.
